Four More Years?

NO.

I see three venues that Rs use to attack President Biden … only the first is valid:

  1.   True federal Executive tasks
    •   Article I, Section 7
      •   To be a limited check (veto) on legislation, including legislation that is clearly unconstitutional
    •   Article II
      •   To act as Commander In Chief for wars properly declared by Congress
      •   To NOT declare war (this belongs to Congress) … the War Powers Act (1973) is unconstitutional
      •   To create treaties with the advice and consent of the Senate
      •   To make federal appointments with the advice and consent of the Senate
      •   To call Congress into session as needed
      •   To deliver an annual State of the Union address
      •   To issue Executive Orders (for Executive duties) that do NOT infringe upon the Legislative department
  2.   Federal tasks but NOT assigned to the Executive
    •   Article I and Article III
  3.   Other tasks for the sovereign states

R charges against President Biden, in category 1, claim a failure to perform these duties or constitutional overreach. I see these as valid charges. Other charges by Rs are against other parties – Congress and the Judicial department. I see these as invalid charges (against President Biden).

Valid Charges Invalid Charges
NOT enforcing immigration laws
Improperly demanding Isra'el cease hostilities with Hamas
Saber-rattling with China, Russia, and Iran
Proposing a budget with a $ 1,700,000,000,000 deficit
Student load foregiveness by fiat (Executive Order)
Continuing DACA
  Uncontrolled spending (Congress' responsibility)
Causing inflation (tied to massive federal debt and annual deficits)

Most of President Biden's aspirations shared in his 2024 State of the Union address are beyond the duties given to the federal Executive. Our current imperial Executive exercises obvious overreach that should be checked by either the Legislative department or the Judicial department, as appropriate.

President Biden and most of Congress need a refresher on The Constitution of the United States.

My Focus

My focus (as a candidate) is directing the Legislative department back to its limited duties per our vaunted Constitution. This includes duties usurped from Congress by past Executives – to reduced the influence of the current imperial presidency.

This website has little else concerning the Executive department and but a brief mention of the Judicial department.

And to All Federal Executives

The admonishments detailed above also apply to Donald Trump and ALL future Presidents.
